Summary:
A customer reported that the power feed motor ran normally but the worktable did not move. ALSGS technicians identified a transmission fault and found a broken nylon gear upon inspection. After replacing it with a genuine ALSGS nylon gear, the fault was resolved and the machine returned to normal operation.
1. Symptom
The customer reported: the power feed powers on normally. After switching on the power and moving the directional handle, the motor runs normally, but the worktable does not move. The power feed cannot drive the worktable.
2. Technical Analysis
Based on the customer's description, ALSGS technical staff identified a transmission fault and recommended opening the bottom cover to inspect the nylon gear and main shaft.
3. On-Site Inspection and Diagnosis
Upon disassembly, the cause was confirmed: a broken nylon gear, which prevented power from being transmitted. The motor ran normally, but the worktable could not be driven.
4. Solution
ALSGS factory immediately shipped a genuine ALSGS nylon gear to the customer. After installation, the fault was resolved and the machine returned to normal operation.
5. Case Summary
The nylon gear is a critical component in the power feed transmission system. ALSGS uses high-strength nylon gears with 3× the strength and toughness of ordinary gears. However, under prolonged heavy loads or abnormal stress, breakage can still occur.
This case was resolved quickly by replacing the gear with a genuine ALSGS part, demonstrating the reliability of ALSGS original accessories and the efficiency of our after-sales response.
If similar issues occur, we recommend checking the nylon gear and main shaft first, and using genuine ALSGS parts for replacement to ensure transmission accuracy and service life.
